East Main Baptist is a new church formed in July 2026 by the merger of First Baptist and Christ Fellowship. This is a great opportunity to get in on the ground floor as we are building a new church. If you are struggling to find a church where you fit in this might be the place.
- What is worship service like? We believe in the Bible and Baptist doctrine. We sing hymns from the hymnal.
- What do I wear? Modest casual is a good description of what you will see. Most people dress comfortably. T shirts are fine as are khakis and a polo or trousers and a blouse. You might see shorts and a few dresses or suits too.
- What about my kids? We love kids at East Main Baptist. We have Sunday School for kids and youth beginning at 9:30 am and we have a special Children's message each week before the young ones are dismissed to their rooms for an age appropriate message.
- Where do I park? We have plenty of parking. There are lots on both sides of the sanctuary with access into the middle of the building. If you park on Main Street or follow the sidewalk around you can access the sanctuary from the front.
- How can I get connected? We like fellowship, coffee, and food. Sunday morning fellowship begins at 9 am. This is the best time to drop in and let us introduce ourselves. Join one of of our Sunday School classes to connect with a smaller group and really get to know some great people. Give us a chance to be a friend!
